Sander Dekker is a Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie). He has been the State Secretary for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, dealing with higher education, science and knowledge, teachers and culture, in the Cabinet Rutte II since 5 November 2012. He previously served as an alderman in The Hague from 2006 to 2012.

Dekker studied public administration at Leiden University.
