Third EHRI Summer School Starts in Jerusalem

Yad Vashem Welcomes Students

After succesfull editions in 2013 at Munich and Paris, today the third EHRI Summer School in Holocaust Studies begins in Jerusalem. EHRI partner Yad Vashem is the organiser of the three week event.

From 24 April - 15 May, the EHRI Summer School will provide twelve international students with the latest insights on methods, sources and the state of research in Holocaust history research. The programme includes lectures by i.a. Prof. Mary Fulbrook, Dr. Jeannine Frenk, Dr. Lea Preis and Dr. David Silberklang, and visits to various important places and archives, for example the Yad Ben-Zvi Institute and the Ghetto Fighters' House Museum.

The students will also present and discuss their own research projects and have free time to consult the archives at Yad Vashem and other institutes.

On Monday 28 April, they will attend the Ceremony for Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day at Yad Vashem.
