The International Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research (ITF) will change its name into International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). This was decided during the ITF meeting on December 10-13 in Liège (Belgium). Delegates from 31 member countries, observer countries and permanent observer organizations took part in this meeting.

With the new name comes a new logo, designed by renowned architect and artist Daniel Libeskind:

The Belgian Chairmanship of the IHRA continues until March 2013. Canada will take over the Chairmanship from March 2013 to March 2014.
