Reopening of The Wiener Library: A is for Adolf

On 1 December 2011 EHRI partner The Wiener Library has officially relaunched in its new home at 29 Russell Square, London. The event was attended by Princess Anne and Dave Milliband. The world's Oldest Holocaust Memorial Institution will be holding a special Open Day on Sunday 29th January, 12pm to 4pm, for anyone who is interested in visiting the new premises. On the opening day The Wiener Library featured on the BBC News.

At the same time The Wiener Library opened its first ever exhibition, 'A is for Adolf: Teaching German Children Nazi Values'. The exhibition includes items from the Library's unique collection of children's books, games and toys, and will aim to illustrate the depth and intensity of propaganda targeted at young children under the Nazi regime.
