EHRI Partner The Wiener Holocaust Library | New Exhibition: Fighting Antisemitism from Dreyfus to Today

Fighting Antisemitism
Monday, 28 March, 2022

In light of the rise of reported antisemitic rhetoric and violence, EHRI's partner in the UK, The Wiener Holocaust Library launches an important new exhibition, Fighting Antisemitism from Dreyfus to Today. The exhibition will explore the individuals, organisations and campaigns that have fought back against antisemitism in France, Britain and Germany since the time of the Dreyfus Affair. It has been curated partly in response to worrying trends in contemporary antisemitism, including the rise in harassment of Jews in recent years, and the spread of conspiracy theories online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Many irreplaceable artefacts connected with the struggle against antisemitism in the twentieth century will be on display for the very first time.

This significant exhibition opens on Wednesday 30 March. You can find out more on the Library’s website.

In October 2021, the EU launched its first ever Strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life. EHRI has recently published a position paper that highlights its intrinsic importance to research on antisemitism and the fight against antisemitism. EHRI is delighted that the EC duly acknowledges EHRI, and hence its consortium of partners, as an important pillar in the implementation of its strategy on antisemitism.
