Dr. Laurence Prempain is an independent researcher with a focus on Immigration, Polish Migration, and Jewish Studies. She is based in Finland, but travels frequently to France and Poland for her research. She is currently affiliated to the project Diverging Fates. Travelling circus people under National Socialism (team leader Malte Gasche, CENS, University of Helsinki). She uses her EHRI Fellowship to conduct research for this project at Mémorial de la Shoah. Laurence Prempain is member of LARHRA (Laboratoire de Recherches Historiques Rhône-Alpes, Lyon, France) and CCFEF (Centre de Civilisation Française et d’Etudes Francophones, Warsaw, Poland)
