Yael Robinson Gottfeld has been working in Yad Vashem Archives since 2010 and currently holds a position of the Head of the Research Section of the Reference and Information Department. She has been closely involved in developing the Research Section and frequently lectures on the use of Yad Vashem archival resources in academic research.

She is also a PhD candidate at the University of Tel Aviv and her research focuses on the Holocaust aftermath in Poland. In her dissertation she examines the experiences of the mixed, Polish-Jewish families in Poland during the early post-war period.
